This June 12, as the country celebrates Independence Day, Smart Communications (Smart) is letting its subscribers experience more the benefits of Freedom. Subscribers of Smart’s Freedom Plan, the SIM-only postpaid plan with no monthly fees and lock-in period, can celebrate Independence Day by redeeming exclusive perks at the “Follow Your Freedom” booths located at key areas all over the country.

Smart Freedom Plan subscribers who will register to any call, text or data buckets called Flexibundles in these booths will instantly receive free movie passes, MRT/LRT tickets or gift certificates for other freebies.

“Smart’s Freedom Plan has always been about being free – free from fixed monthly fees and overspending, free to choose the bundles you want and need. Now, for one day, it can also give you the freedom to watch the movies you like, roam the city or just pick your treats,” said Kathy Carag, Smart’s Postpaid Business Head.

Registering to select Flexibundles entitles the Freedom Plan subscriber to two (2) cinema tickets to watch any movie of their choice.

A sample Flexibundle would be All Text 200 which gives 2,000 texts to all networks + 150MB of mobile surfing valid for 30 days, only for P200 (Text ALLTXT200 to 9990). Subscribers may also register to Tri Net Combo 200 (250 mins. of calls to PLDT, Smart, Sun & Talk ‘N Text + 1000 text to all networks + 75MB of mobile surfing valid for 15 days) or Tri Net Combo 400 (500 mins. of calls to PLDT*, Smart, Sun & Talk ‘N Text + 2000 text to all networks + 150MB of mobile surfing valid for 30 days). Just text TRINET200 or TRINET400 to 9990, respectively. Registration must be done on site.

Free movie tickets will also be given to subscribers who will register to Unlitalk 500, Call to All 250, UnliText TRIO 350, UCT 400 or 600, UnliSurf 1000, Unli BB Full 599, Unli BB Email 300, Always On 300, 500 and 995.

Other Flexibundles like the Trio Talk 150, All Text 100, UnliText TRIO 200, Unli BBM 99, Always On 50 & 100 entitle the subscriber to P100 worth of MRT or LRT ticket, or coffee shop gift certificates.

“Aside from giving freebies for our existing Freedom Plan subscribers, we are also encouraging more people to experience the Freedom Plan advantage,” adds Carag. “We are offering choice handsets at incredibly low prices for new Freedom Plan subscribers.”

Under this offer, the iPhone 4s 64GB only costs P10,900, the Lenovo A690 is at P3,899 while the Samsung Nari costs only P1,350 when bundled with a Freedom Plan subscription. There are almost 20 other devices to choose from.

A Smart Freedom Plan is easy to acquire. One only needs to present a valid ID. No financial documents and long application process necessary.

All of these freebies and the handset sale will be available in Follow your Freedom booths to be opened on June 12 at Robinsons Galleria, Gateway Mall, SM Baguio, SM Pampanga, SM Dasmarinas, SM Cebu, Gaisano Davao and at the Smart Store on Wheels at Kawit, Cavite.
