Matteo Guidicelli Airs Public Apology on Reported Fistfight with Coco Martin

Matteo Guidicelli apologized on national television regarding the reported fistfight between him and fellow Kapamilya actor Coco Martin which happened at the Salon de Ning bar early Sunday morning, September 4.

Matteo aired his public apology yesterday, September 5, during the live telecast of ABS-CBN’s noontime show “Happy Yipee Yehey!” where he is one of the co-hosts.

Here is the transcript of Matteo’s apology:

I’m very, very sorry for what happened. It was a very unnecessary matter.

Sorry talaga sa nangyari. Sa lahat ng mga fans. Sa lahat ng mga bosses namin, sorry talaga po.

Tita Cory, nandun po sya eh. Sir Deo, nandun sila. Sorry talaga.

At sa lahat ng mga direktor at sa lahat ng mga taong naaapekto, the biggest sorry…the biggest sorry. I’m very sad.

You know Kuya John (referring to John Estrada who was currently beside him) nandito ako bilang artista para magpapasaya ng tao, para mag-smile sila…pero heto we had a problem and I’m very, very sorry.

Gagawa po ako ng paraan para maging maayos ang lahat.

And yun, I love you guys”

Matteo reportedly punched Coco Martin after the latter kissed her girlfriend Maja Salvador. The altercation happened right after the Star Magic Ball which was held at the Manila Peninsula (CLICK HERE FOR RELATED ARTICLE).

Coco Martin and Matteo Guidicelli Fistfight Because of Maja Salvador

Coco Martin and Matteo Guidicelli reportedly had a fistfight at the Salon de Ning bar in Makati early Sunday morning right after the Star Magic Ball at the Manila Pen.

ABS-CBN’s showbiz talk show The Buzz reported that the altercation happened after Coco allegedly kissed Maja Salvador on the lips. Matteo, who’s been reported as Maja’s boyfriend, allegedly witnessed the incident and punched Coco out of jealousy.

The fistfight was confirmed by no less than Maja Salvador who also admitted on The Buzz Sunday afternoon that she is the reason behind the brawl between her Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin co-star Coco Martin and boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli.

Star Magic Public Relations Manager Thess Gubi has released a statement regarding the reported fistfight between the two Kapamilya actors saying that it was a case of simple misunderstanding:

“What happened was just a simple misunderstanding. Both Coco and Matteo are sorry it happened. Everything has been resolved,” the statement said.
