Kuya Kim visits exotic animal lovers who have welcomed the strange and unique into their homes in lieu of bantay and munin this Sunday (Sept 18) in “Matanglawin”

Meet Wilson Tan who has taken care of exotic animals for 25 years and has over a thousand exotic pets living and thriving in his seven-hectare land.

Just like Kuya Kim, he shares a passion for reptiles and snakes such as blood pythons and Burmese pythons. He has a green thumb for breeding snakes. No wonder he became the first successful breeder of the rare Brazilian Rainbow Boa in the Philippines.

Meanwhile, “Showtime” rocker Teddy Corpuz goes on a special mission that’s really close to his heart— zookeeping.

Don’t miss out on this exotic animals special with Kuya Kim on this Sunday (Sept 18), 9:30 AM only in “Matanglawin” on ABS-CBN.

Is everything indeed better with animals?

Yes! Animals sure class up the Internet. No! Have we learned nothing from the Crazy Cat Lady?Maybe. Depends on local and state laws.Of course. Mustard, BBQ sauce, teriyaki.VoteTotal Votes: 27

The rise of kitty videos, baby pictures and other cuteness on the Internet is now explained by our hardwired instinct to share when we care, Science recently claimed.

In its first foray into video advertising, travel search engine Hipmunk experimented with that assertion by substituting humans for animals in some of the Internet's most famous viral videos. Animals paid homage include Dramatic Chipmunk, Maru Loves Boxes, Keyboard Cat, Surprised Kitty, Cat Mom Hugs Baby Kitten, and Sneezing Baby Panda. (If you've missed those viral videos, just click their names.)

"Everything's  Better with Cute Animals (Including Travel Search!)" is Hipmunk's conclusion (as well as the title of the video), but we're not so sure. While this video couldn't exist without the adorable animals that came before — obviously — it's pretty super awesome on its own.

You be the judge.
