Tanghalang Pilipino (TP)’s Noli Me Tangere enjoyed jampacked shows and rave reviews during the four-week-run of Noli Me Tangere that TP has decided to have two special shows- September 9 at 8 p.m., and September 11 at 3:30 p.m.
Critics praised director Audie Gemora’s simple, yet effective staging while lead actors Gian Magdangal and Mark Bautista (as Ibarra) and Cris Villonco (as Maria Clara) enjoyed glowing reviews for their performances. The show was also accorded numerous standing ovations from the people who watched it.
“There will be a big surprise in the two special shows,” says director Audie. “It will be exciting.”
Because of the rousing success of the run, a World Tour of the production is now in the works.
