GOGO GEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR FOR MENGOGO GEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR FOR MENPRLog (Press Release) - Mar 18, 2012 -
ScooterGirls, Inc., Los Angeles based designers and manufacturers of GoGo Gear, http://www.gogogearla.com a line of highly fashionable protective riding apparel for motorcycle and scooter riders head into ABC TVs Shark Tank on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 8pm to battle it out with the sharks in an effort to win investment in their company in exchange for a percentage ownership.

The Scooter Girls are recognized worldwide for combining protection and fashion design in jackets made for motorcycle and scooter riders. The line of jackets and now kevlar jeans, gloves and accessories are highly-styled and fashion forward and are designed to appeal to today's image-conscious, contemporary motorcycle and scooter enthusiasts. GoGo Gear solves the age-old problem of finding attractive protective riding wear.

GoGo Gear jackets include CE-approved armor protectors for the shoulders, elbows and back areas and two layers of abrasion resistant fabric. The fabrics are also waterproof and windproof. Reflective details are notable design features of the jackets and are strategically placed to provide high visibility for low-light riding conditions.

GoGo Gear creator, Arlene Battishill, a motorcycle rider herself, created the line in 2009 in response to her need for more business appropriate protective riding wear. Battishill says “it was bad enough that I was driving a motorcycle to business meetings, but to walk in wearing an ugly, ill-fitting, bulky protective jacket that made me look like a football player..., that was the reason I never wore any protective gear”.

The Scooter Girls enter the Shark Tank to get a deal and the question is, will the sharks bite or will the Scooter Girls get eaten alive?

GoGo Gear is sold to retailers in the US and Canada, Paris, Milan, Australia and Germany, and available on the Internet in the US, Australia, Germany and France.
