Samsung announced the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 in April and just recently, it also announced the 8-inch and 10-inch variants of the tablet line-up.   The tablets share the same design elements, which honestly, are becoming too common and uninspired by the day.  I wish for Samsung to revise its design philosophy and for it to go for something new and fresh.
In terms of hardware, you won’t see anything that can be considered industry-leading with these new tablets.  They’re still good tablets though and hopefully they will be priced reasonably.

The 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 has a WXGA TFT display with 1,280 x 800 resolution that translates to 189 ppi.  It runs on a 1.5GHz dual-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM.  Internals storage is at 16GB or 32GB that is expandable up to 64GB via microSD slot.  The rear camera has a 5-megapixel capacity while the front camera only shoots up to 1.3-megapixels.  The battery is bigger at 4,450mAh and the OS is the newer Android 4.2.   For connectivity, expect WiFi (a/b/g/n), 3G and LTE.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (10 inches)

The biggest Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 has a 10.1-inch WXGA TFT display with the same 1280×800 resolution that translates to 149 ppi.  The 10-inch version may be the biggest in terms of size but its camera is not the best.  The 10-inch Galaxy Tab 3 only packs a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.   Its processor is faster though since it runs on a 1.6GHz dual-core CPU.  Instead of the 1.5GB RAM on the 8-incher however, the 10-incher only has 1GB of RAM.  It comes in the same 16GB and 32GB variants and storage is also expandable up to 64GB vial microSD slot.  The 10-inch Galaxy Tab 3 will run Android 4.2 and will be powered by a a 6,800mAh battery.  The tablet will be available in WiFi, 3G and LTE variants.
