Are you still stubbornly using the old version of Twitter.com? The one that's dubbed "Old Twitter" and practically considered history? You are? Seriously? Ah, well. We've got some bad news for you: Twitter will soon force you to stop and switch to "New Twitter."
This is how the "Old Twitter" design looks.Twitter broke the devestating news to users via a tweetyesterday, but no one should be particularly surprised that Old Twitter's time has come to an end. We knew that the moment was inevitable ever since Twitter first began rolling out its redesign back in September 2010.
This is the "New Twitter" design -- which most are seeing at this point. There's little use in fighting the change, it seems. Despite the many demands that Old Twitter be left alone, the microblogging service is still going ahead with its plan to switch all users over to the shiny new version of its site by the end of this week.
So wave goodbye to the old design and embrace the new. Either that or hang on to Old Twitter as long as you can and post angry tweets when you are finally forced to let go.
